The Covert Adventures Show
It's a big beautiful state, lets show the world what we have

Hello,
My name is Christopher Covert. Thank you for visiting my Outdoor Adventure Show page. I’m a lifelong outdoor recreation enthusiast who feels most at home in the woods, on a trail, or tucked away in a quiet campsite. Over the years I’ve explored countless campgrounds, forests, and national parks across the country, and I’ve always had a deep appreciation for the history and beauty of our public lands—including the old, abandoned fire towers that stand as reminders of the past.

In recent years, however, I’ve watched these same public lands fall into serious disrepair. Aging infrastructure, closed roads, collapsing bridges, shuttered recreation sites, and abandoned facilities have become far too common. During my outdoor adventures, I began documenting these issues firsthand, hoping to shine a light on just how critical the situation has become.

I grew up in East Tennessee, next to the Cherokee National Forest and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park—places that shaped my childhood and defined my connection to the outdoors. These mountains taught me the value of conservation, and they’re a major reason why I now advocate for stronger federal investment in our public lands
.
Through this project, my goal is simple. Build public awareness and encourage congressional support for a $25 billion investment in the National Park Service and National Forest System—an investment that would protect these places for future generations.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more, and for supporting the effort to restore America’s wild and beautiful spaces.
